Our History
HUNT Property Solutions, LLC (HPS) was formed in March, 2018 and is co-owned by Engineered Facility Solutions, founded in 2005, and HUNT Real Estate Corporation. HPS provides full service property management services to their clientele in the commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial and historic and public sector markets. The merger of companies has created the largest third-party property management and commercial real company serving the Western New York region.

Stephen P. Fitzmaurice, RPA
Steve Fitzmaurice is the Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for HUNT Property Solutions. He brings over 25 years of property management experience; building and leading high performance teams for hotels and commercial office buildings throughout the Western New York region.
Fitzmaurice has overseen large-scale projects up to $28 million and has managed operations of complex facilities up to 1.5 million square feet to reduce costs and improve operational performance. Prior to joining HUNT Property Solutions, Fitzmaurice was Chief Operating Officer at One HSBC Tower in Buffalo, NY. Some highlights of his tenure there included successfully orchestrating the transition of One HSBC Center to new ownership in the largest real estate transaction recorded by Erie County, instituting a marketing campaign that drove leasing by changing the public perception of One HSBC Center, and challenging assessed value of properties, resulting in annual savings of $2.72 million.

Charles F. Hunt, COO
Charles F. Hunt has been involved in real estate for his entire life. His great-grandfather founded HUNT Real Estate Corp. in 1911, and his grandfather and father have worked for the past 40 years to grow HUNT to what it is today. HUNT currently operates in New York and Arizona and also has multiple core businesses to represent the full spectrum of real estate offerings: HUNT Mortgage, Network Title Agency, HUNT Insurance, HUNT Commercial, and HUNT Property Solutions, LLC.
Hunt’s current roles with the organization are as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and as Director of Corporate Relations. As COO, Hunt is responsible for the sales operations of the various companies and oversees the growth initiatives of HUNT. Hunt also manages the relationships HUNT has built in the community: Pegula Sports and Entertainment, including the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, New Era Cap, Rich Products and Geico Insurance. Additionally, Hunt is responsible for vendor selection and negotiation for all HUNT systems and tools.
The scoop on Hunt: After graduating from Bentley College with a bachelor’s degree in management, Hunt completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Buffalo. Hunt is actively involved in the community, serving on various boards and foundations, and is also involved in the local and state real estate communities, including New York State Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors, Upstate New York Real Estate Information Service, Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors, Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, and Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. Hunt currently resides in Snyder, NY with his wife and daughters.

Robert McDonnell, Chief Operating Office, HUNT Commercial
Robert McDonnell was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of HUNT Commercial in 2019, however his history with the organization started years earlier. He was originally recruited to HUNT Commercial in the early 1990s, where he learned the complexities of the business with the help of a team of seasoned and experienced brokers. McDonnell’s initial experience at HUNT helped him transition to a 20+ year career with a highly regarded commercial development firm. Over the years, he has been involved in all sales and marketing related activities for a vast multi-client portfolio totaling upwards of 15 million square feet. McDonnell is highly versed in all disciplines of commercial real estate including, business development, contract negotiations, proposals, market analysis, past and future trends, and client management/retention. To date, McDonnell has been involved in over 400 transactions with a total value in excess of well over 700 million dollars. Some of his notable clients include Key Success LLC, Buffalo Success LLC, Ciminelli Properties, First Niagara Bank, and KeyBank.
As COO of HUNT Commercial, McDonnell is responsible for growing the commercial sales organization within New York, as well as implementing strategic initiatives that will continue to benefit the long term goals of both HUNT Commercial and HUNT Property Solutions.
The scoop on McDonnell: He is a graduate of John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio and CCIM Institute in Chicago, Illinois.
