HUNT Property Solutions, provider of property management services for Kleinhans Music Hall, recently took advantage of New York State on PAUSE to focus on beautifying the building’s exterior.
Kleinhans, like all public spaces, had to cancel events and shutter their doors in response to the announcement issued by New York State at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While activities inside the Hall are currently shut down, the HUNT Property Solutions maintenance staff are still on-site to operate equipment and monitor fire protection and security systems. While doing this essential work, the HUNT staff decided to take the opportunity to also improve the exterior of the property by repairing the ground lights along the perimeter of the sidewalk, which had not operated in 30 years.
The HUNT team started by repairing each fixture, then installing new LED bulbs and a central timer for night operation. Finally, through resourceful online searches, they found multi-color, high-temperature lenses perfect for ground light usage. The resulting effect of the new lights at night is that of a rainbow along Kleinhans’ exterior walls.
As Bill Hibbard, President of HUNT Property Solutions, explained, “We wanted to send a message to the Buffalo community that this will be over soon, that we will come out of this stronger, and that our buildings will be in better condition than before.”
Dan Hart, Director of Kleinhans Music Association, praised the effort. “It is so incredible to see Kleinhans once again lit up at night. It is not only a wonderful statement to the community, but also a testament to the outstanding work being done at the hall by Team HUNT. Congratulations, and thank you!”
HUNT Property Solutions also provides property management services for many other commercial and historic buildings throughout the Buffalo area.
